The second edition of Human Radio concert by AFRO-House queen, Niniola Apata was a musical experience as promised.
The concert was held on Friday, 8th of November 2019 and saw the songstress share the stage with some heavy hitting artists.
The show started with Ed iZycs who was the first performer on stage, then TEMs, Mz Kiss, Seyi Shay who wowed the audience with her magnificent vocals.
Dotun gave an energetic performance and hyped the crowd by jumping from the VIP section onto the stage, in doing so he broke a section of the stage.
He even went into the crowd to dance with the fans.
Falz was next to perform on stage with a new look. The rapper was sporting blonde hair. He performed some of his hit songs which excited the fans and Ghanaian goddess Becca gave a beautiful performance of her hit songs before Niniola came on stage.
Moreover, Niniola’s entrance was nothing short of glorious as local drummers and dancers led a procession onto the stage beating Yoruba talking drums/Bata drums, with the back up singers singing the praises of Niniola.
The dancers and drummers dressed in Yoruba aso – oke attire, and entertained the audience with their energetic performance.
The AFRO-House Queen showed up amidst the drummers and dancers in her beautiful green playsuit. She sang her popular Ibadi song, shaking her bum to the admiration of her fans with the sounds of the talking drum, omele and bata, evidently celebrating the culture that originates from Ondo state, in the western part of Nigeria.
On her second performance, she dressed in a pink ball gown designed by Yemi Shoyemi. With the orchestra playing at the background, Niniola gave an intimate performance of the song, kokoro ti nje efo. She got her Male fan to dance with her, which he couldn’t believe his luck.
He seemed shy initially but quickly overcame his shyness and had a beautiful dance performance with Niniola as if they had known each other for years or even rehearsed it.
Niniola’s third performance was a tribute to her family. She stated that she was born into drums, into music. She dressed in a band attire alongside other drummers.
Futhermore, she took command of the percussion and rendered various tunes. She played popular childhood play songs such as: Iya Titi to se be and where you go, and the audience responded excited.
Her forth change of the day was a gold dress with a performance that brought the show to a beautiful completion as she gave her loyal fans what they had been waiting for by performing her hit songs Maradona and Banana as she showcased energetic choreography alongside her dancers.
